Explore Robotics

Students will explore robotics and AI with a humanoid robot. It's packed with sensors (and character) and it can walk, dance, speak, and recognize faces and objects. The students will learn how to program all of these aspects of the robot over the sessions in a variety of different scenarios. In one session we will look at using his touch sensors to control his actions and speech. Another session will see the students learning about how he can recognise speech and turn him into a shop assistant. Another session will see them using his 2D cameras to recognise objects and then faces. They will also explore storytelling where they will program the robot to narrate an interactive adventure story incorporating his sensors and speech.
