JCG Foundation is excited to launch our school holiday camp for children in Years 1-4. The camp will offer a range of fun and educational sessions, including STEM, creative and physical activities for children to enjoy in a safe and supervised environment. The camp will also allow children to develop their teamwork and communication skills whilst working in groups on challenges and projects. Each day will involve two different sessions, each including a range of activities, and lunch will be provided.

Example Programme (please note that the order and timings of activities may change and some activities are weather-dependent):

Excellent Engineering & Spectacular Science

Children will build an earthquake-proof bridge, create a device to protect an egg when it is thrown from a tall building and design and launch a rocket. Children will also learn about how robots work and be helped to build their own robot. Children will watch some exciting science demonstrations and get hands-on with some fun and safe experiments, such as making slime.

Amazing Art & Cool Crafts

Children will use paint and other materials to create their own works of art and inventive craft items. Children will also have the opportunity to bake and decorate delicious cupcakes and cookies. In groups, children will also design and make clothes from recycled items and then model them in our fantastic fashion show.

Exciting Excursions & Super Sports

Children will spend a morning or afternoon at the beach or in the woods. At the beach they will play games, explore the rock pools and build sandcastles. At the woods they will play games, go on a mini beast safari and build a camp. Children will get active taking part in fun team games, treasure hunts and races.
