Our experience of the Mont à L’Abbé raffle ticket sale was one to remember.
We sold more tickets than ever before, that added up to be an incredible total of £2,000 for Mont à L’Abbé school. The skills that we learnt included
Resilience, when we got turned down
The skill to carry on, when we were getting ignored
Confidence, when our voices were heard
A sense of independence, when we made a sale without any help
A sense of responsibility and pride, because we knew that we were doing something for a great cause
-Kindness, because we did it not for ourselves but for the amazing people at Mont à L’Abbé
As well as lots of others. Along the way, we shared lots of laughs, smiles and good times with our new found friends. We are so happy we took this opportunity as now we have discovered a whole new side of ourselves. When an opportunity, like this one, comes around we will be sure to sign up straight away and you should too!
