As of Wednesday 22nd April 2026 we will be joining the 'Bagatelle Schools Walking Bus' arranged by Jersey Sport.
A walking bus is a fun, safe way for children to walk to school together under the supervision of responsible adults. Just like a traditional bus route, it follows a set path and timetable, with children able to “hop on” as it passes their location. It’s a simple idea, but one that is proving highly effective in encouraging active travel.
Why join the walking bus?
It’s fun and active, children start their day energised and ready to learn.
It builds confidence and road safety awareness in a supportive environment.
It reduces congestion and pollution around the school gate.
It brings community together, with families supporting one another on the journey.
The Walking Bus will run on Wednesdays in term time from Liberation Square meeting from 07:45 – 08:00, leaving at 08:00.
