We know that the exam season can be a stressful time in some households, for students and parents. It can be difficult for students to manage their workload, and parents often want to know what can be done to help. Prepare offers a timely and effective solution.
Prepare Revision Sessions are an annual Easter revision academy, focused on helping Jersey students preparing for their GCSEs, end of Year 12 exams and A levels take an important step in boosting their revision. The sessions are open to all students, boys and girls, in the island. With intensive and interactive practice, tuition and revision with highly-regarded teachers who have years of experience preparing students for national exams, Prepare provides students with the kind of focused support they simply can’t get on their own.
The tailored sessions provide an opportunity for students to receive structured support from expert teachers in small class sizes. The focus is on helping students to get ahead with their revision, in an organised and time-effective way, while providing a cost-effective solution for parents.
If you’re considering sessions, here’s some feedback from previous participants:
“The sessions are hugely beneficial, thanks to all involved.”
“Well organised, well run and extremely valued by my daughter. Thank you to all the teachers who helped bring structure to the holidays - so important for some children!”
“My overall impression from the feedback I received, after the sessions, was that they were really worth attending. Being able to book a certain topic within the subject meant that the revision time was well spent at school, no need to cover topics that perhaps were fully understood and it enabled good planning for home revision of other subjects once home. I'd say that it has generally left them feeling properly prepared, even in subjects that they didn't attend a session for, they are able to apply the same techniques and crack on. Worth every penny!”
