FAQs
Where can I find out about admissions to the College?
We have a whole section on our website that explains the admissions process.
How do students get to and from school?
College Bus Service
There is a regular College bus service provided by Liberty Bus for students from JCG and Victoria College (on some routes, they are also joined by students from other schools). Information and timetables are available from the Liberty Bus Website
The school buses are timetabled to arrive at College well before 8.25am to allow a prompt start to registration and morning lessons.
For more information you can visit the Liberty Bus website.
Parking – Drop Off & Collection of Students
There is a designated drop-off for students in the top car park on the lower level, which is managed by site staff between 8.00am and 8.30am.
Designated pick-up is managed by site staff from 2.45pm (Prep School) until 3.45pm when the buses leave.
Parents should not pick up or drop off on the main road or in the visitors’ car park outside College House or at Langford Sports Centre, as this is unsafe and gives rise to many Health and Safety issues.
Where can I find information on school fees?
For all information on school fees please click here.
When do we get charged the fees?
Fees will be collected via Direct Debit on the 1st day of each month.
JCG’s fees are paid a term in advance by monthly direct debit, commencing 1 June, 1 October and 1 February for the Autumn, Spring and Summer terms respectively.
When do school fees increase?
The fees are subject to an annual review in the Spring Term. Fees are increased as required in September each year following consultation with the Board of Governors and the Government of Jersey. The Board of Governors endeavours to advise parents of the new fee at the end of Spring Term.
When transferring from JCP to JCG, am I required to pay a deposit?
A deposit of £400 is required to secure your child's place at the Senior School. This can be paid by BACS.
