Total immersion
At JCG, you are not simply visiting a school— you are joining a community that will inspire you to learn, grow, explore and belong. The fastest way to improve your English is to use it every day.
At JCG, international students learn in English, socialise in English and live with an English-speaking host family. This helps them develop their knowledge of the language as well as their confidence in both spoken and written communication.
A Ready-Made Community
Many immersion students tell us that what makes JCG special is the strong sense of community and friendship that exists throughout the College.
Every immersion student is paired with a JCG student buddy who helps them settle into school life, make friends and feel at home from day one.
In addition, all immersion students will join one of our College’s six Houses. They will have the opportunity to earn points for their House through various competitions during the year, as well as raising money for their House’s chosen charity.
From your very first day, your student buddy, teachers and classmates will help you feel at home.
