For their Spring Concert they will perform songs from musicals as well as classical music, in ensembles or in solos.
The show will also include a Ukrainian folk song about spring recently discovered by Head of Music John Bowley.
“We are delighted that, after such a long break, our students will be performing live once more,” Mr Bowley said.
“This Spring Concert represents the emergence of music in our community after the extraordinary challenges imposed on our musicians by Covid. Although we have been performing online, nothing replaces the thrill of a live event for audience and performer alike, and we are delighted to be back performing again.
“It is the first time many of our girls will have done a concert and shown what they can do. For the others, it’s the first in a long time they have performed live.”
Refreshments will be served from 18:30.
“We hope you will be able to join us for a glass of wine before the concert, and that you will be able to help us celebrate music’s return to JCG once more,” Mr Bowley added.
Entrance to the concert is free and there will be a collection for Ukraine charity.
