Three of our students won trophies at the Western Miniature Rifle Club  prize giving ceremony last night thanks to their achievements with their .22 indoor rifle shooting.

Amelia won The President's Centenary Trophy and Saesha the Dalriada Trophy, while Libby won six Awards in total: The WP Le Marquand Shield for the highest average in 10 shoots, the U18 Knock Out Trophy, the Under 15 Beginner’s trophy, the EJ Smith Junior League Trophy for the best JSSA junior league average, the Uplands Junior Trophy for the highest in Island Junior Open and the Class B winner of the monthly wine glass shoot.

All three girls are involved with the Combined Cadet Forces and shoot for the College.

Libby will be going to Bisley in July with the Jersey Rifle Association with a team made up of VCJ and JCG students to shoot Outdoor full bore in the Imperial Shoot. She will return to Bisley in August  with the Club to shoot .22 outdoor.
