Co-curricular
Our co-curricular offer aims to help students develop their passions, knowledge and skills beyond the classroom. By nurturing creativity, confidence and physical fitness as well as enriching cultural capital and global awareness, co-curricular activities are a key way in which our students develop their character and live our values.
Jersey College for Girls has an extensive variety of co-curricular clubs for our students to enjoy. Clubs are led by a mixture of staff, sixth form students and external agencies providing a multitude of different opportunities. Each year group have clubs that are available exclusively to them, and they can access clubs that are available to all year groups.
If you would like any more information on the various clubs and clinics we offer, please email Mrs Sandra Coleman on [email protected]
New Academic year in September
Please note that all clubs and study sessions will start in the first full week back at school for students. This is often the third week in September.
All clubs and study sessions are advertised on Tutor Notices and will be available by the tutor notices at the end of the second week in preparation for the first week back. Clubs and study sessions will also be advertised around school on the tv screens. Students do not need to sign up for clubs (unless it is offered by an external agency) and just need to turn up on the day to the listed classroom.

Study Sessions
In addition to extracurricular clubs, we offer a wide range of study sessions designed to help students with their subjects and even their homework. Study Sessions for the lower years are run by our Academic Prefects in our Sixth Form who tutor students in subject specific clinics. GCSE and A level sessions are run by staff who offer sessions from subject support to exam revision and techniques. In addition, our student leadership team run a homework club for years 7-10.
