Director of Music -  MPS plus SA4

Jersey College for Girls is a high-performing day school for girls aged 11-18, renowned for its academic excellence, rich co-curricular programme and nurturing environment. Music is a central part of college life. We are seeking an inspirational and dedicated Director of Music to lead our thriving Music Department. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and passionate musician and educator to shape the musical life of the College - from curriculum design to public performance - and inspire our next generation of musicians. 

As our Director of Music, you will:

  • Provide visionary leadership for Music across the College.
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to all students.
  • Develop and oversee an ambitious and inclusive co-curricular music programme.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure Music continues to flourish at the heart of our school community. 


The successful candidate will be experienced and motivated with a proven record of success. You will be committed to supporting students to achieve their full potential in both curricular and extra-curricular activities.
