30th November 2015
This year’s Cavell Auction raised money for our two House charities, Cancer Research UK and the Jersey Children’s Charirty.
With money still coming in, the event has raised over £2,500. Students, parents, staff and other guests were entertained – and encouraged to give generously – by the witty commentary of the auctioneering double-act that is Miss Morris and Mr Vibert. Alongside the auction, guests enjoyed a cake-sale, a raffle and a tombola, all of which were organised by members of Cavell. The event as a whole was ably orchestrated by Kelly Dixon and Emma Alker: Cavell’s House Captains for the year. Thank you to everyone, both individuals and businesses, who kindly donated lots to the auction, and thank you also to everyone who gave their time and their money to support two deeply deserving charities.
