JCG Foundation launches ‘Prepare 2015’ with Rathbone Investment Management International

This week, JCG Foundation is proud to announce the date for Jersey’s first dedicated GCSE revision conference, Prepare 2015. Sponsored by Rathbone Investment Management International (RIMI) the conference will take place during the Easter holidays from Tuesday 7th to Friday 10th April at Jersey College for Girls. The Focus of the conference is ‘effective and structured exam preparation’.

Prepare 2015 is open to all students studying for GCSE examinations at any island secondary school and each session costs £40. Students can attend multiple sessions and financial assistance is available for students who need it thanks to the generosity of RIMI.

The GCSE Revision Conference is designed to provide active, structured and intensive revision opportunities in key subjects to Island Year 11 students preparing for GCSE examinations in May and June 2015. Students can select any number of subject-specific sessions to attend, according to their requirements. Each GCSE subject is offered a three-hour session and the most popular subjects will be repeated during the week so that students can participate in every session they wish. The sessions will be taught by expert teachers from a number of island schools.

On committing to the activity, Phil Bain, deputy managing director of RIMI comments: ‘We are delighted to continue our partnership with the JCG Foundation to support education in Jersey and believe that Prepare 2015 will be invaluable in helping students to revise for their GCSE examinations at this crucial time. We hope this year’s conference is a fantastic success and look forward to supporting the event for years to come.’
