  • JCG actors excel in House Drama Competition

    Appreciative audiences enjoyed short extracts from plays directed by students.  Garrett Anderson took the award for best play presenting the hard hitting play ‘Blackout’ with great sensitivity. Brooke Le Breton from Inglis House won the prize for Best Director with her rendition of Find Me by Olwen Wymark.

  • Carmina Burana

    It was a packed house for the superb concert Carmina Burana performed by Jersey College for Girls, Victoria College and Victoria College Preparatory School. There was a fantastic opening to the evening from PWC Jersey Young Musician of the Year, Julia Callander, and amazing pianist Jasper Clarke. Gitte-Maj Donoghue, Robert Tilson and Themba Mvula then led the 135 strong choir with Chris George, Malcom Whittell, Russell Abraham, Louise Risby, Harrison Caldeira, Ruby Clarke and Jonathan Cushen providing the magical musical accompaniment. Well done to all involved.​

    The ‘JCG Tigers’ did us proud by achieving 2nd place. All 3 teams made significantly more money than last year, and the gap between our highest achieving team and the winners was narrowed considerably.

  • Y7 5 a-side football

    Y7 students Solene (captain), Erin, Erin, Lucy, Tilly, Estelle and Kiera recently took part in a 5 a-side football tournament and came 3rd overall (out of 6 teams). The students, never having played as a team before, did really well winning 2 games, drawing 2 games and unfortunately, lost their final game, narrowly missing out on 1st place. 'We all had a great time and hope to play again very soon.'​
