    Kate Richardson-Walsh OBE, Olympic Gold medalist captain of GB Hockey team was our speaker at prize giving. She also took some time to coach our 1st XI hockey team. Mrs McAnuff, Head of the Performance Faculty, said: 'she was truly inspiring and gave excellent coaching advice to the girls.' ​

    Congratulations to Emily. She has completed her Compulsory 1 and qualified as an elite gymnast, whilst gaining a score that placed her 12th nationally. Well done for all of the hard work and determination involved in reaching such a high standard.​

    Year 9 Hockey Tournament. The weather was rather wet and chilly, but the students played some really great hockey. Four wins and one loss of 1-0 to Le Rocquier left us in 2nd place this year. Well done to all involved.​

  • 'Spectroscopy in a suitcase'

    Tim Harrison and Bethan Donnelly, from the University of Bristol, delivered 'Spectroscopy in a suitcase' sessions to our A Level Chemistry students on behalf of the Royal Society of Chemistry. Our students had the opportunity to learn about and use UV-visible and infrared spectrometers from specialists in the field.

  • Inter School Rounders Tournament

    Over our 4 inter schools rounders tournaments this week, we saw some outstanding play and sportsmanship. Some age groups were very challenging and the students had to step up their tactics with very close matches. The Year 8s and 9s played superbly, winning all their games. Year 10 lost one match by a rounder so came 2nd, and Year 7 were 3rd. Well done to all those who represented the school.​
