  • Swimming at the London Aquatics Centre

    Students from JCG took part in school relays at the London Aquatics Centre at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. They almost broke the Island record and had an amazing time.

  • JCG v VCJ Netball

    JCG and VCJ Sixth formers organised a netball match raising money for charity. The game was played in good spirits and there was enthusiastic support from both sides. Thanks goes to all those involved in the organisation. The final score was 10 to VCJ and 7 to JCG.

  • Equiom Great Debate

    Victoria College and Jersey College for Girls students teamed up to debate the validity of homework at the Equiom Great Debate. Students eloquently conveyed some interesting and convincing arguments for and against the motion. The voting was very tight but the motion was carried 27-25 that 'This house believes that homework is unnecessary'.

  • Hockey Tournament at Les Quennevais

    Yesterday saw the Year 10/11 hockey tournament held at Les Quennevais in chilly conditions. With only 8 minute games, the girls fought well with three wins and three 0-0 draws. JCG managed to accumulate enough points to win ahead of Le Rocquier. Well done to all who played.

    We held a triangular tournament with Year 8A & B teams from Windlesham High School, City of London School and JCG. It was great competitive play in both pools, especially the A teams, with the JCG B team winning all their matches. Well done to all who played.

  • Grace's Success

    Grace Rentsch competed in the Under 17 Badminton England competition in Liverpool on Sunday 15th October. Players competed from all over the UK. Playing singles, Grace was seeded 3/4 and won her group beating 3 other girls. She lost in the semi finals to the tournament top seed from Cheshire with a score of 24-22. Grace received a Bronze medal. In the doubles Grace and her partner Macy Bechemin won Silver, they beat the tournament top seeds but unfortunately lost to the 2nd seeds. Well done girls.
